BLIND CLEANING
The cleaning process is the combination of equipment and the
proper chemistry selection.
There is a wide selection of cleaning chemicals available on
the market and it is critical the right choice is made.
The chemicals are formulated to break down the contamination
on the articles and a variation in cleaning solution will be required for
various dirt deposits.
The additive in the fluid is not only there to remove the
contamination but to break down the surface tension that exists in ultrasonics
when using water alone.
The turnover of solution must be determined by the end user
to satisfy acceptable cleaning results of the finished article.
Temperature is also a significant factor to the physics and
effectiveness of cleaning. An increase in the temperature causes a
corresponding increase in the detergent solutions vapour pressure and a reduction
in minimum energy required for cavitation. Mixing the detergent with warm water
is therefore recommended to enhance the effectiveness of ultrasonic cleaners.
The more the solution is contaminated the longer the
cleaning process. All solutions used come in a concentrated form and are
biodegradable.
